TomorrowNow’s partnership with  the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) has been acknowledged by Gates Foundation as one of the new applications of digital technologies to ensure smallholder farmers can anticipate and respond to climate threats. 

Africa – TomorrowNow and KALRO, leveraging weather tech by its tech partner Tomorrow.io and philanthropic support from Gates Foundation, have developed an innovative weather intelligence platform which provides weather-smart agro advisory services to farmers in East Africa via text messages.  The weather insights are being used by smallholder producers to make critical farm-level decisions such as planting and harvesting of crops.
